Global Warming Is… Cool?

At least one group welcomes the balmy climate up ahead.
One of Minnesota’s nicknames is “The Blue Peninsula” because usually we are the coldest spot in the nation. On the national temperature maps with different color bands for each 10 degree range, there usually is a blue peninsula that hangs over our frigid state.
I like their blog’s raison d’être: “Because its stupid to politicize the weather.”
On Al Gore:
The chopping of the pine tree is a reference to the activity of dendrochronologists, who imply environmental temperatures from widths of tree rings. They use boreholes and not actually chop the trees.
